In all seriousness, this book had some good tips to become aware of how much you complain and gossip and how to work towards cutting it out.

Try going 21 consecutive days without gossiping, complaining, criticizing, or being sarcastic. Wear the purple bracelet. Each time you do, change it to the other wrist and start over from day one
